Nomi.ai - Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 16, 2026
Thank you for visiting http://nomi.ai (the “Site”). The nomi.ai platform (the “System”), inclusive of this Site and the platform’s mobile application (the “Mobile App”), is operated and maintained by Glimpse.ai, Inc., a Maryland, corporation (hereafter referred to as “us” or “we” or “our”). You may contact us at our address below.
We understand how important privacy is to our users and have designed our System to know as little personal information about you as possible. We do not and will not sell or rent to any third party any of your personal information.
As a part of general privacy best practices, we strongly encourage you to not include any of your personally identifiable information in any interaction or customization of your Nomis. When creating an account you are required to provide a Google or Apple account during sign-up. When doing this, the only information we receive is your Gmail or iCloud email address (or a private-relay equivalent email), and for Apple users we strongly encourage using Apple’s iCloud Private Relay to obfuscate your real email address.
Below will give you a more complete understanding of how we collect and use your personal information. Specifically, this Privacy Policy sets out the following:
- What Information We Collect From You, and How It Is Collected
- How We Use Your Information
- How Information May Be Shared By Us After We Collect It
- Your Rights With Regard To Your Personal Information
- Your Choices Concerning Other Matters
- How We Safeguard Personal Information
- Other Important Information
- How to Contact Us
1. What Information We Collect From You, And How It Is Collected
A. Information You Deliberately Provide to Us
To use the System, you will be required to establish an account that requires a Google account or Apple account – that provides us your Google or Apple email. After you connect via your Google or Apple account, you will enter your name or a pseudonym for addressing you in the System, and your date of birth. Thereafter, the only other information we collect is whatever content you provide us by using the System – e.g., in your chats with or customization of your nomis, submission of a complaint or service ticket, or submissions to Discord about the System. If you upgrade from a free account, we will also collect the information associated with your payment method. We also collect information about your activities on the System
B. Information We Collect Automatically
Each time you visit Site or use the System, even if you do not create an account, we learn the following information about you:
- the IP address from which you accessed Site;
- the date and time of your visit to Site;
- the URL of the website from which you linked to Site;
- your use of the site (e.g., the pages you visited and the items clicked on); and
- the browser and operating system you use.
We may also receive information about you from our social media platforms, and we may learn information about you from social media platforms provided by others, or information others provide us about you.
C. Information We Collect Through Cookies
Through small pieces of information that is sent to your browser, along with a web page, when you access the Site (each, a “Cookie”), we track the Site’s webpages you visit and the date when you last looked at a specific webpage. Cookies may improve the quality of your experience on the Site. A session Cookie is a line of text that is stored temporarily in your computer’s memory. Because a session Cookie is never written to a drive, it is destroyed as soon as you close your browser. A persistent Cookie is a more permanent line of text that gets saved by your browser to a file on your hard drive. We do not use persistent Cookies.
Our software returns Cookie information to the domain where the Cookie originated (in this case, http://www.nomi.ai). No other website can request it and we do not share any Cookie information with third parties. To learn how to remove or block Cookies, see Tracking Technologies below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide you the System, to enhance your experience with your Nomi, to communicate with you about your account and changes to the System, and to provide customer services. We also use your information for our legitimate business needs, such as enforcing our Terms of Service, improving the System, complying with our legal obligations, and protecting your vital interests or a third party’s.
The information we collect about you merely because you visit Site is used strictly to learn about how you, as a visitor to the Site, use the Site. When we combine this information with similar information collected from other visitors to Site, we analyze it for purposes of making the Site more useful to, accessible by, or safe for its visitors, and measuring visitor interest in the Site’s content and features.
Session Cookies help provide seamless navigation through the Site and serve other technical purposes. Multisession Cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, and how we can make it better.
We may store your personal information on servers located outside your country of residence, which servers may be provided by third parties.
3. How Information May Be Shared By Us After We Collect It
We do not share any user’s information except as necessary to address our legitimate business purpose. To the maximum extent possible, if any information includes personally-identifiable information, it will be de-identified unless you otherwise consent. We do not and will not sell or rent to any third party any of your personal information.
We may share personally identifiable information with courts, law enforcement agencies, or other governmental bodies when we believe we are required to do so by law, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, protect our business interests or enforce our rights or remedies against you, or respond to a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or other law enforcement request. We will share personal information as necessary to provide information to our representatives and advisors (e.g., accountants and attorneys) to help us comply with legal, accounting, and security requirements.
We may share de-identified personal information with third parties in the form of surveys, reported findings, or other communications that we believe will educate us, a targeted audience, or the public generally, about trends in the System.
In the unlikely event we become interested in selling, merging, or transferring any part of our business, your de-identified personal information may be shared with the potential purchaser during due diligence. If we were to sell the company, your personal information would be transferred to the successor or purchaser.
4. Your Rights With Regard To Your Personal Information
Your right to access, change, or require us to delete or transfer your personal information will depend on applicable law. Once created, you cannot change the email address tied to your account information; however, you can delete your account, which will delete all of your personal information, within 28 or so days of confirmation of deletion, through your “Account Settings”. Our customer support can be reached by using the contact information provided in the How to Contact Us below. Any personal information contained in any communication with us cannot be changed or deleted as it is part of our archives once created. To the extent permitted by applicable law, destruction or deletion of information about you in such communications or that we collected from third parties will be determined in accordance with our retention policies or legal or regulatory requirements.
5. Your Choices Concerning Other Matters
Marketing Communications. If you receive marketing communications from us that are not wanted, click the “unsubscribe” link in the email received.
Tracking Technologies (Third Parties). There are third parties that may use automatic collection technologies to collect information about you or your device, such as analytics companies, device manufacturers, and your internet or mobile service provider. Information on changing browser settings to opt out of Cookies can be found in a device’s browser settings.
Although not employed currently, we may use advertising networks and other third parties to manage the Site’s advertising on other websites. Our third-party vendors may place Cookies on the Site and unaffiliated websites in order to serve advertisements that may be relevant to a visitor based on browsing activities and interests, and to determine the effectiveness of such advertisements.
To opt-out of certain other tracking through Cookies, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s or Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page. To opt out of targeted ads on Facebook, visit https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/columnist/komando/2015/10/09/stop-facebook-targeted-ads-and-tracking/73588820/.
To opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or to customize Google Display Network ads, Google recommends browser plug-ins (https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en). If you are “signed-in” to Google because of Gmail or other services, visit https://myaccount.google.com/privacy.
Even if you elect to opt-out of Cookies and interest-based advertising, you may still receive advertisements, but they will not be tailored to your interests. Use of new devices may require new elections to opt-out.
Social Media Features. The System may now or in the future use social media features (“Social Media Features”), such as Facebook sharing. These features may collect your IP address and the page you are visiting within the System and may set a Cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the System. Interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statement and policies of the company providing the relevant Social Media Features.
6. How We Safeguard Personal Information
We ask users to not provide any personally-identifiable information in the content they provide the System. If we share any personal information, we use commercially reasonable efforts to do so in a de-identified manner. We take security precautions to protect personal information; however, no data transmission over the Internet or cell systems can be guaranteed as secure. Commensurate to our size, we use commercially reasonable efforts to comply with applicable laws, keep our security practices updated, and implement best practices to protect your personal information. We use software programs to monitor network traffic and identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information or otherwise cause damage in the System. Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information in the System is strictly prohibited and may be punishable under applicable law. Except for information that is in our training or communications archives or necessary to a legal proceeding or order, all personal information can be deleted by deleting your account. Upon deletion, any information in our training archives would no longer be attributable to you.
Examples of our safeguard measures include adopting and implementing policies focused on privacy, training staff about securing and protecting personal information, limiting access to and using personal information only to the extent necessary to deliver our services to you through your Nomi or as otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy. The computers/servers we use are kept in a secure environment.
